I'm Samarth,
nice to meet you.
My journey as an entrepreneur has brought me a long way. There is nothing I find more exciting than touching upon the lives of many people with great design
Been passionate about technology since 10. Always been an avid reader and a business enthusiast. Standing at the intersection of technology, art and humanities. A constant learner and passionate technologist who believes: “Those who are crazy enough to think they can change the world usually do”.

How I got started in user research
To set me up for a successful UX career, I needed to shift my mindset as both that of a product designer as well as a product owner by embracing the business side of design.
Setting myself up as an entrepreneur made me more effective—both with my immediate team and in the partnerships that I forged to turn my ideas into fully realized products.
Why I love what I do so much
The antics of my entrepreneurial pressure-cooker were entertaining, but the show also demonstrated that business acumen and product savviness go a long way when trying to sell ideas.
Fully understanding the product area I am working in is one of the best ways I position myself as a UXer, united in true partnerships with both cross-functional teams and their end-users.
How I like to go about my work
It’s not enough to just do product research, like competitive analyses or market surveys. As a UXer, I try to become an expert on my user, and that means understanding the full landscape in which my users exist.
To get the lay of the land, I read industry news, and understand where that industry and competitors are going. The goal is to build a POV on the product and business.
The more knowledgeable and business-smart I become, the better I do under questioning. It’s an immensely valuable skill. I call this “speaking shark.” It means thinking like a CEO.
